Senior Research Associate

UP ISC is looking for a Senior Research Associate who would be reporting directly to the Deputy Director for Research. We are looking for a bright, highly engaged individual who is quick on their feet, loves working with data, and is passionate about working with new technology. A degree in applied or pure science is ideal but not required, as long as you can demonstrate an aptitude and passion for digital technology, frontier technologies, and information management; graduates from the arts, humanities, and social sciences are also welcome to apply.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from any discipline
1 year of relevant experience
4 hours of relevant training
Duties & Responsibilities
Conduct data collection and analysis using various databases and software tools;
Assist in the development and maintenance of databases for research projects;
Prepare research reports, literature reviews, and presentations.
Stay updated on advancements in data science, artificial intelligence, and complexity science;
Collaborate with team members to brainstorm ideas and problem-solve;
Communicate research findings effectively through written and verbal channels;
Stay updated on advancements in data science, artificial intelligence, and complexity science;
Attend research meetings, seminars, and conferences as required;
Proficient in a wide range of software applications and hardware systems essential for data analysis, database management, and research operations;
Perform other duties as assigned by the UP ISC's Deputy Director for Research and/or Executive Director.
