The UP Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs and the UP Intelligent Systems Center (ISC) of the University of the Philippines is exploring opportunities to support UP faculty and REPS for postdoctoral activities and placements at institutions worldwide. Three types of postdocs are available:
Research-Based Postdoctoral Appointment
Short-Term Training or Competency Improvement Program
Policy Development Appointment
Each postdoc can receive up to of 2.5M PHP for postdoc activities and placements lasting 3 months to 1 year. For details on these activities and the program in general, please consult the draft guidelines on this page.
You do not have to be a recent PhD graduate in order to qualify for this program. The goal is to provide professional development opportunities to as many of our academic staff as possible in order to strengthen research collaboration, outcomes, and impact.
